Reflections Holiday Parks – Copeton Waters is located only 40km from Inverell and is a 900 hectare recreational and adventure playground with accommodation and camping facilities.
Barayamal National Park was mainly established to conserve nature, however walk in visitors are welcome to explore and enjoy the area.

The conservation area covers 1057 hectares and parts of it have been a flora and fauna reserve since 1920.
Kings Plains National Park is a rocky woodland best known for its still pools, seasonal waterfalls and wildflowers.
Kwiambal National Park (pronounced Kigh-am-bal) lies 25km north west of Ashford. The Macintyre River rushes through sculpted granite gorges and plunge pools at Macintyre Falls before meeting the junction of the Severn River.
Lake Inverell is a wildlife refuge recreation reserve and a popular kayaking, fishing and bird watching area. It has BBQ facilities, toilets and walking tracks and is an excellent place for a picnic.
Mcllveen Park Lookout is located 4kms west of Inverell. Here you can see the commanding views across the township of Inverell and ranges further east. On site is ample parking, toilets, picnic area, a childrens playground, viewing platform and sundial.

Pindari Dam is located on the Severn River, just 85km north of Inverell. The dam is surrounded by untouched native eucalypt woodlands and is the perfect spot to drop in a line and relax. Free camping on site with solar hot water amenities.
